About Gavin Stanton

Gavin Wade Stanton (born November 13, 1984, Detroit, Michigan) is an undefeated American amateur boxer who competed between 1998 and 2013. Over his 15-year career, Gavin fought across multiple weight divisions — welterweight, middleweight, and light heavyweight — compiling an incredible 63-0 amateur record.

Stanton’s career includes seven major championships, highlighted by his victory in the 2012 U.S. Golden Gloves Light Heavyweight Division. Known for his aggressive yet technical style, he quickly became a feared name in the amateur boxing world.

In 2013, Stanton attempted to qualify for the U.S. Olympic Boxing Team. During the Olympic Trials, he was controversially disqualified, which ultimately led to his retirement from competitive boxing.
